The company was started by Mike Shelley, our CEO, as a class project during his MBA, where he began making and selling paracord bracelets. Over time, SGT KNOTS has expanded and is now a large distributor of all types of rope and cordage.

The company is located in Statesville, North Carolina, about an hour north of Charlotte.

Our marine-grade bungee line is an extremely durable and strong cord, a step above most other bungees on the market. The Dacron polyester sheath ensures long-lasting use under heavy friction and sunlight. This heavy-duty bungee cord with hooks is perfect for hauling, moving, camping, backpacking, and a wide range of other outdoor activities.

Our marine-grade shock cord is built with top-quality Dacron Polyester, a low-stretch, high-strength synthetic fiber with excellent resistance to abrasion, UV ray degradation, moisture, chemicals, and oils.

Each end of the cord features a sturdy metal hook for secure fastening. Attach the cord to your roof rack, truck bed, or wrap it for fast and easy gear bundles. However, it is important to exercise caution and keep vulnerable body parts out of the potential rebound path, and not to stretch the cord beyond 50% of its unstretched length. Secure the hooks carefully, and do not anchor the hook by the tip.

We offer a variety of diameters and lengths, including 3/8 inches, 48 inches, 24 inches, 32 inches, 40 inches, 48 inches, 56 inches, 64 inches, and 72 inches. The available colors are Black, Neon Orange, Red, Royal Blue, White, and Woodland Camo.
